DNS-Level Security

Our SlowDNS tunneling encrypts your internet traffic at the DNS level, providing an extra layer of security that works even on restricted networks where standard VPNs are blocked.

Enhanced Privacy

Your browsing activity appears as normal DNS traffic, making it extremely difficult to detect and block while still concealing your real IP address.

Firewall Bypass

SlowDNS tunneling can bypass even the strictest firewalls since DNS traffic is rarely blocked completely, giving you access to the open internet.

Global SlowDNS Server Locations

Our SSH Over DNS Tunneling provides secure port forwarding through DNS queries without shell access.

Pro Tip

For optimal SlowDNS performance during your 3-day access, choose a server location geographically closest to you.

How SSH Over DNS Works

Understanding SSH Over DNS (SlowDNS) Technology

How DNS Tunneling Works

SSH Over DNS (SlowDNS) encapsulates your SSH traffic within DNS queries, allowing it to bypass network restrictions that normally block VPN traffic. This method takes advantage of the fact that DNS (Domain Name System) traffic is rarely blocked completely, as it's essential for basic internet functionality.

Key Advantages

Unlike traditional VPNs, SlowDNS doesn't establish a direct TCP connection. Instead, it uses DNS requests and responses to carry your encrypted data, making it much harder to detect and block. This makes it particularly valuable in restrictive network environments.

Performance Considerations

While DNS tunneling provides excellent bypass capabilities, it's generally slower than direct SSH connections due to the overhead of DNS encapsulation. However, our optimized servers minimize this impact for the best possible 3-day experience.

Common Use Cases:
  • Bypassing school/workplace firewalls
  • Accessing restricted content in censored regions
  • Secure browsing on monitored networks
  • When traditional VPNs are blocked
